The Circle or Prophetic Dream

2022

Bessie Award Nominee performance The Circle or Prophetic Dream was commissioned and premiered at Danspace Project in NYC in the fall of 2022. The performance is an anthropological research on how the body and sound inhabit social space as new forms of nomadism, during the current migration crisis caused by displacement, climate change and land appropriation.

The Circle or Prophetic Dream exists in conceptual dialogue with The Square: Displacement with no End to create the diptych Sacred Geometry, as part of Núñez's larger body of work.
